Emile Anthony Sinclair (born 29 December 1987) is an England Association football who plays for Peterborough United F.C. as a forward (association football).


Nottingham Forest

Sinclair started Emile Sinclair career with the Bradford City A.F.C. youth system in 2005 before being released and signing for Nottingham Forest F.C. in 2006. The Forward (association football) was given chances, along with other young players, in Forest's 2007 pre-season.

Sinclair made Emile Sinclair professional debut away at Chester City F.C. in the first round of the Carling Cup. Emile Sinclair came on as a substitute in extra time and went on to score the winning penalty in the penalty shootout.

Emile Sinclair scored Emile Sinclair first professional goal after netting the last of Forest's 4–0 victory against Gillingham F.C., just two minutes after coming on as a substitute for hat-trick man Junior Agogo. Following this run of form, the 19-year-old was rewarded with a new two-year deal at the City Ground club on the October 2, 2007.

On November 22, 2007, Sinclair joined Brentford F.C. in a one-month loan deal. Emile Sinclair debut was in a 7–0 loss against to Peterborough United F.C.. Emile Sinclair was dropped onto the bench and made Emile Sinclair other three appearances as a substitute. Emile Sinclair loan spell ended on January 2, 2008. Emile Sinclair netted two goals in the reserves upon Emile Sinclair return and returned to the first team days later as Emile Sinclair came off the bench in Forest's 4–0 victory over Leyton Orient F.C.. Emile Sinclair helped The Reds finish second in the Nottingham Forest F.C. season 2007-08 in Football League One, gaining promotion to the Football League Championship.

With The Reds gaining promotion, manager Colin Calderwood has commented that Emile Sinclair will be given the chance to impress next season after Forest's promotion to the Football League Championship in the upcoming Nottingham Forest F.C. season 2008-09.

On 16 October Emile Sinclair joined Football Conference outfit Mansfield Town F.C. on loan, scoring on Emile Sinclair debut against Wrexham F.C.. Emile Sinclair went on to score four goals in 10 games on loan with Mansfield before returning to Forest.

Macclesfield Town

Sinclair joined Macclesfield Town F.C. on loan on 15 January 2009. Emile Sinclair was released by Nottingham Forest in May 2009. After a successful loan spell out the club it was announced on the 22 May 2009 that Emile Sinclair had signed a permanent 1 year deal. Sinclair progressed through the 2009/10 season playing 42 games and scoring 7 goals. Emile Sinclair signed a new two year contract expiring at the end of the 2011/12 season.

Peterborough United

Sinclair joined Peterborough United F.C. on 31 August 2011. Peterborough paid an undisclosed fee for the striker, who signed a three-year contract with the club. Sinclair scored a brace on Emile Sinclair debut start in a 2-1 home victory against Burnley with both goals. On the 17 December Emile Sinclair started against Coventry City at home, Paul Taylor picked up the ball with 20 minutes remaining and found Sinclair in the box, Sinclair guided the ball into the top corner, the game finished 1-0.
