Artem Kravets

Artem Anatoliovich Kravets (; born 3 June 1989 in Dniprodzerzhynsk, Soviet Union) is a Ukrainians football (soccer) Striker that plays for Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukraine national football team.

Artem Anatoliovich Kravets (; born 3 June 1989 in Dniprodzerzhynsk, Soviet Union) is a Ukrainians football (soccer) Striker that plays for Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukraine national football team.

Club career

Kravets appeared for regularly for the Dynamo Reserves and Dynamo-2 Kyiv until Artem Kravets was noticed by Dynamo's new coach Yuriy Semin, who took Artem Kravets to the main team in the 2007–2008 season, who recognized the player's great potential. Most notable appearance was in UEFA CUP game vs Valencia CF which ended in 2:2 draw, helping Kyiv to advance by aggregate goals. Kravets scored both goals for Dynamo on 34-th and 73-d minutes. Match was played on 27 February 2009.

International career

Artem Kravets was called up to Ukraine national football team for friendly match against Serbia national football team on 26 March 2008, but received an injury just before the match. Kravets was later called in a FIFA World Cup 2010 qualifying match against England national football team on 1 April 2009. However, Artem Kravets debut was again delayed when Artem Kravets suffered an injury to a muscle in Artem Kravets thigh, six days before the match, and was subsequently replaced by Yevhen Seleznyov.
